Sombre Lilt

I've been submitting a lot of pictures of females lately, have'n't I? Ah well, I was sort of convinced to go ahead and upload this [I'm not too hot on uploading photography, for some reason]. I know most of you stalkers are more fond of my Indy anime art.

Anyway, I had a couple of ideas for this particular image, and this one turned out the best of the bunch. The lighting was very difficult to work with, and that string [singular!] was a PAIN. Took about fifteen minutes to get it to look the way I wanted to.

My concept for this piece was a basic statement about religion. Nothing overtly powerful, but obvious enough to be seen. Make your own interpretations, please. n_n

Silver print process, lots of dodging and burning in the lab, and a warm duotone + border + text added with Photoshop 7. Sorry, I can't recall the F-stop settings and such.
