Scraps

Something to submit. I'm not finished with any nice CG's, yet, but I wanted to post something anyway. Sooo, here is something atypical, for ye people [who have actually gone back and added my scraps section to their watch].

This is kind of a journal, kind of a sketch, and kind of brainstorming. I do this sort of thing in one sitting, when I need to wind down [stress], warm up [for a big pic], or when I'm having artist's block and/or I need to brainstorm. I just draw and doodle until I've covered most, if not all, of the paper [in writers' terms, it's like "stream-of-conscience" writing]. And yes, I date them. I have'n't had the chance to do this much, lately. *complain*

The great thing about this is that you do'n't have to care if it look good or makes any sense. Is also good exercise for making yourself draw faster and looser [which is why I use this for prepping before a pre-meditated piece]. Same goes for non-pencil stuff. I grab a pen, or marker sometimes, too.

And you still dont' skimp on the nekkid boys. I *heart* the guy with the umbrella the most. It looks like a chinese zombie hat.
